This week I will not be working, and I am glad I chose not to. Like I predicted, the hours for coming into school for tpol's and graduation prep are sporadic at best.
There will be no work update blogging this week because I am not working.

This blog post covers the two weeks starting 6/4 and 6/11 respectivelyI have continued working these past two weeks, working two different job sites. The reason myself and a few other crew members alternate sites is for the simple fact of what stage the project is at. For example, if we prep footing to be poured, we have to wait for concrete and rather not working, we go to the other site that is not waiting on a third party. As a real world example, we had filled the entire dump trailer by the end of the day with concrete. Because we were not able to do much more, the next day was at a different job site in La Jolla. My pay rate does not change, and I get the opportunity to work with different commercial and private companies that work along side us.
I currently have no new photos of either job site because I have not gotten permission to do so. I am truly wondering what else to note. For a concrete worker the work doesn't change, I have no news to report. I have learned the most these past couple weeks and I have a few job offers to work in a trade. I am excited to see what is in store. |
