I strongly dislike seminar-style discussions, here's why. I do not wish to argue or discuss right and wrong or weather murder is acceptable in certain casses. Everything in this world we live in, including the website and language you're reading right now, was created by us (humans). Discussing right and wrong is arguing with ourselves. Sometimes, there is no answer to your discussion. The answers are usually with the humans who created right and wrong. Humans today are too imperfect and curupted to put value on other people's lives. Yet, we do it everyday.
I believe the reason that our seminar in class didn't take off is not lack of reading the material, nor lack of interest, rather lack of interest of the seminar itself. It is therefore up to Matthew Patrick to set up some guildlines. Minimum of topics discussed, words said, ect. Therefore, students are forced to participate.
